note: there's going to be a joestar and friends powwow log up on the 27th. i'll be putting it up and it's basically a place for all of us to icly pool our information as well as have some shenanigans.

Iiiii do not yet have anything planned for April. I am in the last two weeks of costuming crunch time before con so I will probably be sadly pretty absent until after that, though it's the first weekend in April so that does leave like...all of april... for me to be available.

currently i am slow tagging the event, and also johnny and diego are teamworking. It's so impressive they both deserve a gold star.

ayoooo I'm excited for the Joestar Family Party

Nothing huge to report, on this end! Kakyoin picked a fight with Jotaro post-event but that's probably all cleared up and explained and apologized-for come April! If anyone wants to notice the few days of awkward tension or the lingering weirdness that would be totally welcome, but it's also not anything overt so it can just slide by quietly!

Otherwise Kakyoin's been trying to negotiate with Apollo to earn some sorta sun-infused weapon to shove up DIO's sphincter, so that may leak into April and/or he might talk to other people about it, depending on how it turns out. No other specific plans for April as of yet, but I would totally be up for assisting in anyone else's shenanigans?! Might be worth keeping an eye out for whatever's gonna be going on in April, ha ha ...

As always, I'm really happy to get to play with you nerds and Haven's been nothing but fucking gureito, I'd always be super excited for anything that comes up!

Their last meeting ended on a kawaii note so I guess DIO could run by him and remark on how well he's looking like a complete not-asshole. Incidentally does Kakyoin know Jonathan is Jonathan. : Or Jonathan's significance in Haven, rather...

Oh man, sssssort of. Kakyoin does know Jonathan's name, and I imagine he's heard from Joseph that DIO from the neckdown is Jonathan, so he'd be able to make an educated guess about what's going on there. Which ... would actually gross him out quite a bit, looking at DIO and thinking "ew he actually stole someone's body," now that he's met Jonathan face to face.

Nighttime meetup would probably work on that note! Just general staring and posing disdainfully at each other, the usual pleasantries.

I have nnno plans for April right now except to get on top of my shameful, shameful lack of activity from March, which has been partly travel, partly exhaustion and partly just me being a slow motherfucker. DIO has made Jion his reliable food source so that's going down, and he's in the process of reuniting with Jonathan so I'm very very hype about that. He also finally met Jolyne and is getting suspicious about Johnny! So everything is just quietly progressing on otherwise and I'm wading softly through backtags.


Haven

Considering what recently came up, I wonder if we should also talk Blue/the game a little bit. If anyone has any strong opinions it might be a good way to see what we're all thinking/feeling, if anything!

I just want to say that I have a lot of affection for this cast and I'd love to keep us all together as long as I can, regardless of the game outcome. I feel like I haven't played with any of you nearly enough yet so one of my main concerns is just keeping the cast happy and strong.

Obviously I'm new and have very little exposure to or investment in the plot of Haven. . . My major investment here is in the cast! So my preference is definitely for keeping the game going however it needs to so we can keep being great. But I also agree that I'd like to keep playing with everyone regardless, so! If the game ends up pausing maybe we can figure out a thing to do??

Yes, likewise. I don't really have any connection to Haven's plot, seeing as we joined up pretty much when we went into our filler arc, so I don't have a strong opinion on the game itself. I do however super adore the cast and would be really disappointed to lose that!

I really wanna keep the cast together too, I know I've been drifting away a bit lately (MMOs distraction...) but the cast is really what drew me to Haven and made me stay. Of course the game itself is interesting but it's the cast that makes it for me.

My biggest concern with the game pausing is that I am very wary of people actually coming back if/when it starts again, but obviously if the Jojo cast goes, so will I!

I think if we wanna keep together the most solid of things to do would be making up a PSL in which we can play together, we can make our own plots (STAND ATTACKS) and control the setting how we want, but that obviously is a lot of investment... So I dunno :( I really wanna keep playing together though.

Re: Haven! I'm definitely also leaning towards wanting the game to stick around. Given we have no idea if/when Blue will be back, having the game go on hiatus could potentially just mean the game getting shut down permanently and/or for long enough that it'd be dead in the water upon re-opening.

While I'm definitely very fond of Haven as a whole, the cast is a huge draw and I'm tremendously happy I've gotten to play with all you nerds. And while doing PSL/musebox stuff with our cast (if game does go down) would be fun, it'd be easier for everyone to stick around if we had the game as a commonality, I think. Either way, I'm incredibly thirsty to play with our cast more, you've all been terrific!

I've been in Haven for a year come April '14, so I think it's me, Corinne, Freshy and Lauren who are old Havenites in this particular cast (and Danni obviously, when she was playing Caesar).

Given the very strong plot driven nature of Haven, I think stalling or going on hiatus would be a bad idea for momentum because from experience of these things, not in journal rp but in other rp formats, it is very hard to get it back started once that momentum's gone. Especially since there's no timeframe for Blue's return, I'd rather have it running low key for a few months and when she comes back, just have it running to her vision again. I have my trust in the helper mods and I'm sure that past mods would be contacted as well regarding the plot.

On an entirely selfish note I love my cast and would rather just keep going as normal, but my inclination is just to keep Haven going.

I literally just joined this game and I had no idea there was even an issue with its future until I saw the mod post in the OOC comm ... which was posted right below my intro. Hahaha, whoops!

I'll admit that I've never seen such a large Jojo cast in a game before, and it'd be a shame to see it disband if Haven had to close.

I guess Polnareff's just going to have to follow the whole group wherever they go if that happens, even if it's just a dressing room or something!

You won't have to worry I think! The overall trend by numbers is very positive for us so far, not just in cast but in the overall game feedback that I've seen. The overwhelming majority would prefer to go for A, so I'm really glad for that. :>

But even if worst comes to worst, I'm sure we'll definitely keep the group tight!

(And welcome again, by the way! I hope the current issues won't put you off too much; it sounds a bit drastic but I think things on the ground will stay on a pretty even keel. The helper mods are a super reliable bunch.)

Yeah, I read the comments on the mod post and it does seem like most of the players want the game to keep going, so that's wonderful. I was just worried for a bit since I hadn't even gotten settled in proper. :<

Aw yeah, I understand! For what it's worth the cast is really good about keeping each other in the loop and propping each other up, so if anything goes to the wall I'm sure we'll work it out together. :')

ACTUALLY MAKING MY OWN COMMENT

First of all I am super excited for Joestar and friends party. It will be great. I want to touch everyone. If anyone has any particular information that they'd like to get from Jolyne (either re: ~the future~ or re: Haven shenanigans) let me know. Jolyne will in particular probably be trying to feel out Dio things now that she's met him. (WHY DON'T YOU JUST KILL HIM GUYS...)

Other than that I don't have any particular plans! Let me know if I'm forgetting anything though...
